Accounting Specialist -Asset and Wealth Management (Jr/Mdr)

Goldman Sachs is looking for a Junior/Medior accounting specialist. This is a temporary role, 40h a week. Extension possible. Both Junior (at least a year of accounting job experience) and Medior candidates are welcome.

Rate:

• Junior: €60-€65

• Medior: €70-€80

• Freelance not possible

• Will work in The Hague office at least 4 days a week

The Asset and Wealth Management Portfolio Services team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The primary focus is Asset Servicing, ensuring the timely processing of transactions, cash reconciliation and supporting Deal teams.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Processing asset lifecycle event bookings

• Cash reconciliation

• Invoice Generation: prepare and issue invoices to borrowers

• Review internal reports and take appropriate action

Additional possible Responsibilities:

• Discrepancy resolution: Identify and resolve both position differences and cash differences

• Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital and physical files for all transactions

• Client Service: Respond to internal and external inquiries

• Proactively work with global Operations business units and engineering teams to assess and streamline processes to mitigate risk or control issues and generate efficiencies

Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one year of experience in financial services

• Ability to work and adapt in a fast and challenging environment where priorities can change daily

• Team oriented – works closely with teammates on daily workflow and sharing knowledge and key information within the team

• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills

• Able to take ownership of issues, handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly

• High attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsiveness

Preferred Qualifications:

• High level understanding of Asset Servicing at the macro level

• High level understanding of Loans, with preferred experience in a prior Loan Servicing role

• Previous Operations experience

• Fund Management Operations experience

• Microsoft Office application proficiency (advanced Excel, AI or Business Intelligence experience is a plus)
