Engineer -Information Systems Security Management Delivery

For Rabobank Utrecht, we are looking for a Information Systems Security Management Delivery.

Important:

Information Systems Security Management Delivery:

• Assisting System Security risk management, assessment against technical control baselines & reporting using Rabobank’s ISO27001/2 aligned System Risk Management Process (SRMP);

• Review of and input into all aspects of Security designs for IT implementation within department;

• Conduct deep-dive reviews of security documentation and architecture, including aspects such as LACF models, security logging and monitoring, segmentation etc.;

• Facilitate threat modelling and security risk assessments;

• Translating and embedding security controls and best practices into IT infrastructure;

• Provide actionable advice on secure design and implementation;

• Evaluate the impact of security standard updates to existing team designs and procedures;

• Improve visibility through metrics, dashboards;

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, cross-team knowledge sharing through chapters and guilds and stakeholder management is a plus;

• Developing and delivering IT systems related security awareness content to local IT systems department;

• Assist teams in their preparation for Audits, both internal and external;

• Guide colleagues and work closely with Risk professionals;

• Bringing all teams within Foundation4Tech to a consistent level in Risk awareness, mitigation and processing.

Business Knowledge / Technical Skills

• Previous experience in an IT support, systems development or Information Security position;

• Knowledge of ISO security standards;

• High integrity professional;

• Good inter-personal skills;

• Good communication, verbal and written;

• Proven ability to understand multicultural contexts.

Desirable

• Agile Systems development methodology, Database Admin/Data Engineering, DevOps;

• Experience of technical systems risk assessment processes and methodologies;

• Previous experience in the Financial Services industry.

Additional information:

• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;

• Due to the congestion at the parking lot Rabobank location Croeselaan in Utrecht, a new parking policy will be introduced as of April 2026. From Monday through Thursday, external staff will no longer be able to park at the Croeselaan. Parking for external staff will remain permitted on Fridays only;

• Please note: midlance constructions are not allowed according to Rabobank policy. Do not offer candidates via this construction. This will be investigated during the screening;

• Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and Rabobank’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale 8;

• A candidate should be submitted exclusively to onze broker – Rabobank during the exclusivity period of 4 business days on one request;

• Furthermore, the candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment;

• Pre-employment screening: If the candidate is selected to start, a pre-employment screening will be executed. As of July 1 2026, a new PES regulation applies. The PES is outsourced to an external party. More information can be found in Annex A. Your candidate is only allowed to start after the pre-employment screening has been completed successfully;

• When offering an independent contractor on an ZZP indirect basis, the contract will be handled via a fee-only agreement. This agreement can be requested in advance;
