Title: DevOps Engineer / Technical Application Administrator

Note: This role is not suitable for freelancers (ZZP).

Role overview

You will maintain and operate applications with a technical focus, with special attention to a TLM migration. Your work centers on Linux and Windows operating systems and includes technical incident management, troubleshooting, migrations, lifecycle management, continuous risk- and security management, and driving improvements and automation.

Primary responsibilities

• Maintain and operate systems from a technical perspective

• Lead or support TLM migration activities

• Handle technical incident management and troubleshooting

• Manage migrations and lifecycle activities

• Perform continuous risk- and security-related tasks

• Design and implement technical monitoring solutions in an agile manner

• Continuously identify and deliver improvements and automation

• Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external technical and functional stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience in application migration

• Strong scripting ability (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash)

• Solid Windows and Linux knowledge

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within Asset Management or the financial markets industry

• Good troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to define a technical monitoring solution and deliver it iteratively

• Service-minded, pragmatic, takes ownership and accepts responsibility

• Excellent organisational skills

• Fully proficient in Dutch; good written and verbal English

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Hands-on technical experience with TLM (absolute plus)

• Corporate Actions and Reconciliation experience

• Asset Management Operations experience

• Thorough knowledge of the chain of events from Front to Back Office and understanding of a global Asset Management operating model

• Java & JBoss knowledge

• Cloud experience

• Experience working in an Agile organisation, SAFe is a plus

Conditions

• Hours: Up to 32 hours per week

• Location: Required to work from the Heerlen office two days per week (Monday and Wednesday)

• Travel: 25%–50% expected
