The Solution Designer ensures IT stability through focus on IT architecture design as defined by the Architect, applying architecture guidelines, leveraging synergies and creation of the technical roadmap. The Solution Designer focuses on the IT architecture design within the responsibility of a single system, or more importantly across multiple systems. The Solution Designer makes timely decisions on solution design across multiple systems that fit within the architecture guidelines and understands dependencies and interaction between different applications in the value chain. The Solution Designer refines and reviews business requirements, influencing them to ensure the most effective use of IT application landscape and IT Infrastructure; translates of user stories into detailed solution and integration design, following the architecture guidelines; Takes into account the functional impacts in each application, data model, interface specifications, interface changes, sequence flows and non-functional requirements; Ensures sufficient solution design documentation and keep it up-to-date; Proposes technologies, design patterns, technical stories by combining the engineering expertise of the agile/developer teams with the overall solution architecture; Identifies refactoring/improvement design chain issues and discuss their priority with Product Owner.

Role
As a Serrala SME, you play a critical client-facing role and show the ability to clearly articulate the business value and change impact of S/4HANA banking transformations. You are able to articulate the benefits of new SAP S/4Hana for Serrala and interpret Business requirements and translates these into a solution with focus on Serrala add-on including the following tasks :
Analyse end-to-end reconciliation flows considering connected systems, SAP IHB integration, Serrala Alevate
troubleshoot posting, matching and clearing exceptions
Interpret and setup and integrations (IS-U and FI-CA)
AutoBank matching and posting rules and building rule sets
You bring a strong background in the area of bank statement processing with the Serrala solutions in S/4Hana and act as a subject matter expert. You provide direction to the implementation team and ensure business alignment.
Assignment context & Team
A multi-year S/4HANA program across 150 legal entities in 6 European countries. The goal is to harmonize and standardize Payment and Bank statement process across the regions (Nordics, Netherlands, Germany). The project go-live is planned in January 2027. During and after the Go-live we need a candidate in the team who can collaborate with the key-users to
Ensure we maintain the defect handling according to the delivered design by the S/4Hana project
Handle incoming Change Requests and retrieve alignment from IT & Business to enable changes according to the agreed design.
You will join the Financial Solutions team within IT, working closely with the Finance Accounts Payable, treasury services and Accounts Receivable department.
Qualifications
Deep Serrala addon knowledge on Autobank is a must
Solid understanding of integration with related modules in Accounting and business processes
Experience with ISO 20022/CAMT transformation is a must
SAP FI integration and S/4HANA transformation projects is strongly preferred
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to drive topics independently
Dutch or German language skills are a strong plus

Background in Treasury and Finance is a must
Master degree is a pre.
English is mandatory. Dutch or German language skills are a strong plus.
This role can be performed remote from the Netherlands. Travelling is expected to Berlin, Stockholm and Amsterdam.
